Vapor allows you to easily create and manage scalable Redis Cache Clusters directly from the Vapor UI or using the Vapor CLI. Starting today, in addition to Redis 5.x Clusters, **you may now also create and manage Redis 6.x Clusters**.

Redis 6.x is the latest version of open-source [Redis](https://redis.io/) software. This new version brings improved security and boosts the performance of your cache.

You may start using Redis 6.x Clusters by creating a new cache on the Vapor UI or using the `cache` CLI command. Both ways will prompt you for more details about the cache such as the Redis version:
